About Mezcal Neta Pulquero Celso Garcia Cruz 2022
70cl / 48.1% - A bold ancestral mezcal is pleasantly creamy on the palate with notes of green chilli, raw cacao, white stones and underripe banana. This intensely aromatic spirit is made from Cenizo agaves - which take between 15 and 20 years to reach maturity - roasted in an earthen pit over a combination of mesquite and oak and fermented using indigenous yeasts. After double distillation in small copper pot stills, it was bottled without any additives save for a small amount of distilled water.
